How to grow sweet pea organically

Sweet peas love open airy spaces.  Make 12x12x12 inches hole in the soil. Add enough dry manure and let it stay for 4-5 days. Sweet peas love slightly alkaline pH between 7 and 7.5, for the best blooming. Mix the soil and manure into a powdery mixture and smoothen the bed. Soak the seeds overnight and plant 3-4 inches apart.

 

Add water moderately to keep the seedbed moist. Do not let water stand on the bed. As the seedling grow, arrange for a fence for the twigs and tendrils to hold on and climb. Sweet pea, an annual plant will bloom in 3-4 months after seeding.
